Good game or self improvement

I enjoy this game and one can get better at it. The larger puzzles were at first a challenge but got easier as time went on. I wish there were an accumulated point system. Id like to have something to show for all the difficult puzzles I have solved.

This is definitely a fun game that works your brain muscles on the more difficult play settings. However I need to deduct one star for there being no sound whatsoever. In fact there are no settings of any kind, other than difficulty level, from what I can tell. Definitely worth having this game, but some basic sounds would go a long way in enhancing the overall experience.

Love this app! My only wish is that the stats would keep record of the number of games completed versus the number of games attempted. Other than that, it is a great, simple time passer (and a challenging one!) 5/5!

Way to go Sarah Pierce. A simple concept well executed. I will pay for upgrade or ad removal. An instant classic game, imho.

What a fun way to keep your mind (and reflexes) sharp! Its a blast!

This was a good app until the timer stopped working. Now its just a dead app. They made sure they got some money before it died.

Fun app

Great combo of words and shapes. I like the soundlessness and that the hints take their time.

Loved the app until it was reloaded from a backup after I had to do a reset. Now I suddenly have to pay to access the Big, Bigger and Giant size jigsaws when I had full access before! Classic Bait & Switch... followed by me Removing the app!

This is an awesome app. Fun and educational. But it would be much better if it showed how many games we completed. Other than that it is great!

Great way to pass the time! Way to start stats anew?

I stumbled across this app when searching for free jigsaw puzzle apps and I love it so much that instead of making jigsaw puzzles, I spend more time playing Word Jigsaw. It is the perfect combination of word puzzle and jigsaw puzzle. Theres many skill levels, so as you get more proficient at the puzzles, you can increase the skill level. Theres no time limit so theres no time pressure, although there is a timer displayed which makes it fun and easy to try to beat my previous best time. A hint is provided if you dont properly place a puzzle piece in some preset time which is helpful if you get stuck. Sometimes all it takes is one correct piece for the rest of them to fall into place. My only slightly negative comment is that if I use a hint, the piece is displayed in blue, but it doesnt lock in place. If I subsequently move it by mistake, it changes back to the default color and I cant distinguish it from the rest of the (potentially incorrectly placed) pieces. My favorite thing about the app is that there are NO ADS and there doesnt appear to be a limit to the number of free puzzles so no purchases or upgrades required. Just sit back, relax and enjoy!

Lots of fun

This one never gets dull, it always presents a challenge. Having to unscramble words in visual blocks makes a very satisfying break in the day. The makers include a diverse vocabulary, and change up the clue shapes, so its not predictable. On a side note: most reviews have no misspelled words - thoughtful people enjoy this game! Someone asked for sounds to be added - Please Dont - that would be horribly distracting. I would appreciate the ability to play the game horizontally, but no other improvements are needed.

This is a superb little puzzle with just one shortcoming -- it needs an update to optimize it to fit iPhone 5 upwards.

I would recommend this to anyone who is having problems with spelling, vocabulary and bad memory. This app helped me a lot with those and Ive improved in my reading skills, Ive increased to like 3 grades higher than I was before because of this app. :)

Love this puzzle, many different levels.

With a lot of iPad word games, the words, probably computer-selected, can be awkward, or just plain awful. Words like "foggiest," "embanked..." Words created by adding "er" or "ers" to the end of verbs, to create words like "opiner" (one who opines) or "snugglers" (people who snuggle), etc. Im happy to report that this game does not have that problem. The description says that the game has 9,000 words from which you can randomly select to create puzzles, and I believe it. For the sake of writing this review, I just sampled a 7 x 6 puzzle, and the six words in the answer were: torment, bulbous, soulful, paprika, naughty, and brewery. No "opiners" or "snugglers" in the bunch! :-) You can play infinite puzzles for free, but only on the small grids. (5x4 and 6x5, I think.) If you decide you like it, and want to tackle the bigger grades, thats a one time purchase of two dollars, and then you have access to infinite puzzles at those sizes as well. So, 5 stars from me!
